I think that would take a lot of extra programming for the dj - plus finding someone not busy on NYE. And, the requests are as close to instant as they can get.

It would probably require someone who is an Admin to do it (or at least, be present to forward the requests).
Of course, you can always record a WAV file, and submit it to be played. Up to JERIC if it makes the ariwaves, though...
