Well maybe we must start a thread with Quotes that are not really from the 80s, but they feel like they come from the 80s. |

Questions are never stupid, but silence.
Obviously the number of a year counting to the 80s should
include the 8.., so "90" gets disqualified, that's it.
Otherwise a year "zero" never existed, a German author and scientist
is the opinion 300 years of history between 690 (i think) and 900 + are
an invention of those who had power during that period of time and a new
century starts with ..1 and includes the year ending on ..0, but now it
becomes a philosophical discussion i guess, laugh. _________________ "There is no justice no mercy or peace while

No quote, but concerning the question when a decade starts...
Never in the exact year that has the first zero in it. There's always a 1-2 year "hangover" period.
It's the same with centuries, only in a smaller scale. Like the semi-mythical "21st century" we hear so much about. That one will be here in 2050 at the earliest. _________________ We have come in peace, to all mankind. |
