In honor of the great John Hughes, awesome movies he made and the great soundtracks that accompanied them, let's piece together the songs that were featured in his films.

Two other "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" tracks that we already have:
The Edge of Forever by The Dream Academy
Oh Yeah by Yello
If you were to make an FBDO soundtrack that just had 80s music in it (minus I Dream of Jeanie, Star Wars, Menuet Celebre, Danke Schoen, and Twist and Shout), you would have these tracks:
01. Love Missle F1-11 (Extended Mix), by Sigue Sigue Sputnik
02. Oh Yeah, by Yello
03. Beat City, by The Flowerpot Men
04. Bad, by Big Audio Dynamite
05. Please Please Let Me Get What I Want (Instrumental), by The Dream Academy
06. Radio People, by ZAPP
07. I'm Afraid, by Blue Room
08. Taking the Day Off, by General Public (instrumental)
09. The Edge of Forever, by The Dream Academy
10. March of the Swivelheads, by The English Beat (a remix of Rotating Heads)

Max Carl's "The Circle" was also used in the soundtrack for Weird Science. The Weird Science soundtrack is in the requests forum already, but I will give it a bump so those who haven't voted, can.... _________________ "The question isn't 'What are we going to do today?'-- It's 'What *aren't* we going to do today?'" |
