That’s always a hard question, but take your time! Make your 80’s list! Very important, this is not about what SHOULD be in the Top ten, it’s about YOUR top 10! It can be a guilty pleasure (c’mon, let it out!) it can be an obscur song or an absolute Hit song!
My Top 1980

2. Amoureux Solitaire – Lio
3. Echo Beach – Martha & The Muffins

The 80's are such a big world! Even with your top ten I still learn songs I haven't heard before (Robbie Dupree)...but I just went listening to it on you tube and of course I knew this song, just didn't know the title and artist.
LMarrese: "Magic" was so close to make my top 10, it's a beautiful song, same thing for "The rose", such a poignant song.
FerrisBueller: Love the song "Sara", almost everything that Stevie Nicks sings catches my soul!
Thank you for participating! _________________ MissEighties |

Looking back, there is an incredible amount of good music that came from 1980. I slogged through a lot of it - giving up after the list got way too long - then finally whittled down a list. So, here it is.
1. Freewill - Rush
2. Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
3. Breaking the Law - Judas Priest
4. I Will Follow - U2
5. De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da - The Police
6. Everybody Wants Some! - Van Halen
7. You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
8. The Zoo - The Scorpions
9. Holiday - Nazereth
10. Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen
Sex Pistols and The Ramones almost knocked Queen out of 10th place. |
